Both quads are great for different reasons. The Wolverine is very light for a 4x4 (485 lbs) and has a very sporty suspension. The motor can be modded using Warrior parts and exhaust, it is the same except for the front and rear drive shafts. It is full time 4wd, but a Warn 424 Select can be installed to make it switchable from 2 to 4 wd. I like being able to select my gear, and keep it in the rpm range I want for whatever use I need, engine braking for down hill, or towing ( no low range in Scrambler).
The Scrambler has a bigger motor, for more torque and power, the belt drive is easily modded for racing, trail riding,or whatever you like. The rear chain drive is cheaper to fix and replace, but will need service more often. It comes factory with the AWD / 2wd button, and there is no shifting involved, so you just gas it and go. It is a bigger machine, and the belt housing makes you sit with your feet farther apart, and you only have floor boards to put your feet on, instead of footpegs with the Wolverine.
The best thing for you to do is ride both, think of what your primary use of it will be, and see which one fits both you and your needs the best. As long as it runs and keeps you on the trail, and you are happy with it, any quad you ride is the best one !!!

best thing to do is go test ride them and then make up your mind. and just get the one you want. not what ever body else want you to get.

Some other things to consider. The scram is liquid cooled compared to the Wolv. oil cooled. The scram will flat out outrun a wolv. I have heard of people saying that 1st gear is to low for mudding and doing anything else. Also, they say that you will always be searching for another gear. Not to mention that you have to buy another part in order to get 2wd. Plus, the suspension on the scrammy is very nice. They scrammy looks sportier where as the wolv. looks more like a ute. The wolv. does have more ground clearance, but that is about it. And to tell you the truth, if I buy a quad where I have to shift, I would at least like a clutch. No clutch takes all the fun out of shifting
