Default gear shift assembly?

Did a swap of an 02 400 exp. tranny into a 02 500 scrambler. i was just wondering if anyone else that has done this, what gear shift assembly did you use. Would like to use existing stock hole in fender if possible. Looking at the 02 magnum 500 lever as being close. thanks.

When I did mine I used the shifter off of an older bike. It is the one with the micro-switch in it. Removed the switch. Built a mount. Straightened the bend in the shifter. Used the original shift rod for high/reverse. Not sure about the low rod. Found one that fit and used it. Shifter is in the stock location, looks factory. Look in the "Pictures" under Scrambler for some pictures.

Yea that is the shifter. As far as I know there are only two styles of shifters for the high/low tranny.
