I'm in need of A-arms for my baby and cv boots.... Also a-arm gaurds and cv boot guards. Last race took it's toll. I feel ashamed to thrash it so hard. But, I did get 2nd place in my class. Those harescrambles can get crazy. If ya'll have anything up for sale, or know where to get good deals, let me know, Thanks JW

 

There are CV boot/ a0arm gaurds on ebay. They look like the ones that I made for mine, but in steel. They protect the a-arm and protect the front and rear of the cv boot. For parts check out partsland

 

Yah, I saw those. But they're only 16th of an inch thick...... I race mine in harescrambles... That would never hold up. I'll keep looking though. Some of the aftermerket stuff I've seen, looks like the boot guards won't work with the a-arm guards. They wouldn't be able to be mounted at the same time...........Hmmmm......Any suggestions????

i have the pro armor a arm guards with the stock plastic cv guards still in place . all i did was make a very small bend . also have thier full length skid plate . fit great and tuff as nails . one of the best things i have bought .

 

I'm real happy w/ the stuff I've gotten from Pro-Armor, too. I have their nerf bars on my 400ex, I use it for MX races, and i love it. It's worth the extra dough to get the quality. Are you gonna sell me your a-arm guards????[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I've heard that it will help avoid snapping the chain, which results in tearing the transmission in half. Which I've already done one time. Would like to avoid that one again. Fortunately, my bike was still under warranty......... What would ya'll recomend for chain tensioners?

 

oops.........That didn't come out right......... I was trying to change subjects slightly....... So, how bout the chain tensioners??? Will it help keep the chain from breaking?? There. That's what i was trying to say...
