Does anyone know how much motor oil should go in a 2002 scrambler 500 4x4??
And should I use the polaris oil or is there another brand anyone can recommend, synthetic??
Thanks.

You can run Amsoil (if you can find it) or Mobil 1 0w-40 Full Synthetic oil called the "European Car Formula" It too is pretty cheap (around $4 a quart) You can also get an oil filter from Napa. The Napa Wix oil filter # for the 500HOmotor is #1358

If you need Amsoil, their website can locate a dealer near you or you can order online just like nearly everything else in the world these days. It still amazes me how many people post questions asking any number of things that could be found with a quick internet search. If you can use your computer to get on the forum, you should be able to use it to find damn near anything that exists.

I'm not referring to questions about quads or riding or that stuff, but to things like "where do I find Amsoil?" You'll get an answer alot quicker by trying Amsoil.com in your browser or just Amsoil in a search engine. If you're sitting at your computer anyway, why wait to get answers from someone else (including some who have wrong answers to things) when it's just a click or two away? It takes less time to get info that way than it does to post a question on a forum and then you can feel like you accomplished something yourself instead of being spoon-fed the simplest little things.
