200s Parts
#1
My brother-in-law is giving me a 85 model 200s. It needs alittle work all of which I won't know until I actually go pick the bike up. My question is, is there still parts available for this thing? From an aftermarket source? How about Honda?
Thanks for any input.

I had no problems getting parts for my 200s. New chain, new rear brakes. (Mud came out of the orginial brakes when I opened it up) New tires.
Think about it though, what is there to go wrong on this thing? The engine is a Honda and baring abuse will last forever. The Spark pulg is stanard and fits several other engines so you can get it elsewhere. Chains are common on motercycles if nothing else the right shop can make one in little time. Brakes might be hard, but I think something will come up - and it isn't like you use them much. I'm not sure about the clutch, but hopefully that will last, and might be avaiable if nothing else.
Keep it in good shape and it should run forever.
Now I just need to figgure out how to grease the rear axel, and how to lossen up the chain adjusters so I can get the tention right.
