85 250r ATC conversion to Quad

Does anybody know if the engine from an 85 honda 250r ATC fit in any of the Fourtrax frames? There are also conversion kits that I heard people talking about anyone with info please help...

It will fit in a TRX 250r frame. No mods are necessary.

Your best bet is to buy a TRX250R frame and use your three wheeler parts. The whole rear end and enigine will swap over without any modifications

The top of the rear shock is wider on the 3-wheeler and the hose for the canister is too short to fit on the quad frame. You can just grind the top of the shock to fit.
Also, the wire harness has to be modified to fit on a quad frame.
