I am about to buy myself an 250 quad, I would prefer a bigger, but I dont have the money. I am 15 years old, Tall and skinny.
I have experience on a E ton 150cc. I ride in snow, mud and trails. I was looking on the ozark and the z250, but feel free to come up with other suggestions!!
Can theese do wheelies well??
ride in snow and mud??
trails??

well it kind of all depends on what you really want out of it. for a good bike with good power thats cheap, i would say a yami blaster. i just got an 03 one and its great. im 16 and ive been riding for about 7 years, so i kinda grew into and out of it, because i want more power, im gonna get a banshee soon. but if i had to keep it because of money, i wouldnt mind at all. i dont know much about e-tons, is the one you rode a manual shift? the blaster is. even though its only a 200, its also a 2 stroke, so itll blast away any and all competition from 4 stroke 250s. its got a top speed of 57mph, the only drawbacks is its sporty so if youre going to be riding in mud i wouldnt reccommend it. but itll do almost anything really, you just have to learn what it likes and how it likes to do things. trails are fine, its nowhere as bad as a banshee is in trails, you just work the clutch more and you wont have any problems. yes it can most definately do wheelies well, i learned it the hard way, i scraped the grab bar on mine and slid for about 30 feet, but thats because i was showing off. its not too much power, but its definately a better buy for someone your size. it puts out more than enough power to last you til you can get something better. so aside from the mudding ability, its a great bike and i got mine for only $3000, brand new. if youre looking at used, theyre good too, just try to find a good one and the only bad thing ive heard about pre-03's is the front brakes arent that great, but thats mostly racers complaining, a casual trail rider wont have any problems. and if you ever plan on taking it to the dunes, you dont even need paddle tires and you can do almost anything. plus the blaster has been such a great bike theres actually a 200cc racing class just for it, which means that its potential for aftermarket accessories is huge. if youre gonna do a lot of mudding though, i suppose id either go with a suzuki ozark or a honda recon. hope this helps.

My daughter has an Ozark. It is good at everything you said except maybe wheelies. It will do them, its just not as easy as a sport quad. They say a 250EX is good at wheelies. As for they Ozark, it is a great quad. I even enjoy riding it myself. It handles very well.
