Warn 424 for 95 - 99 Wolverine- finally !!!
#1
Just finished installing the 424 front end disconnect in my 95 Wolverine ( thanks Montana Jacks) . Instructions and pictures for install is first rate, the only snag I hit was having to shift the head pipe around to clear the gearbox on the Warn, must have put it in wrong the last time I pulled it to sandblast the rust off. I got to tell you, it works great, ran up and down the road to get the feel for it, then did some power slides around the corners, man, with the back only pushing, it is a lot easier to powerslide around the corners, and it feels faster, the motor seems to rev more, and feels more powerful without the front to drive. Even though I scold my son for it, I found myself doing multiple donuts in the driveway, man it's fun !! ( lots of raking to do now !!) Going back into 4 wheel was instant, and it handled just like it did stock, no funny noises, like the 424 isn't even there !! I'm glad they finally made the part for the 95 - 99 Wolverines, now my buddy with a 95 Kodiak wants one, but they don't make one for that model ( hint, hint, Warn !! ) Overall I give this product a solid 10 !!!!

Shop around and call to make sure they have the item in stock, then call Montana Jacks, and he'll beat it by 5 bucks, 239 was the cheapest, so I got mine for 234. As long as they can verify the competition's price, they will beat it.
