Definately a scam. Especially if it lists in spain. If you talk to them, they will want you to wire the money...and they will barter down so much as to even say they will send it COD, but they need you to wire them a couple hundred for shipping...they try any way they can to get anything...and poof...they're gone, and you have a nice $1,900 picture off of ebay!!

 

Its the same a$$hole at it again. Damn, this is getting old. I mean look at the guys feedback, he sells coins, not quads! Fortunely he ended the auction. i am still going to inform Ebay about it so they can take their action.

 

I've been watching eBay for a few weeks now. There's definitely some scam artists on there. I emailed on person some questions and he was very responsive. He gave me some story about family problems and he needed to get rid of the quad. He said if I offered him an amount, he would cancel the auction. When I asked him about payment options, he wanted the money wired to Italy. I said sorry, no can do. Never heard back from him. One of the signs it's a scam is when you look at the location of the seller, it'll say something like 'Great Price' or 'Free Shipping'. It won't list a location. Some of them have high eBay ratings, so I don't know if they are somehow stealing someone else's identity. I also see a few of these scams at atvtraderonline.com. When you see a '03 Sportsman 700 listed for $3500, you know something's up. On the bright side, I think there's some very reputable sellers, you just have to be careful.

yea ebay has lots of scams
in the car and trucks parts section there are those electric superchargers
yea im sure a little ventilation fan is going to boost horsepower

 

He stole the acount, and the feedback. According to his feedback, he is a coin dealer, not an atv dealer. And if he wants the money sent to Italy or Germany then it is DEFINATEY the same guy
