Default Rear Shock Mount on extended swing arm

Has anyone thought about Changing the location of the shock mount on extended swingarms. I'm thinking that if I moved the bracket on the swingarm back and inch It would sit better and transfer the weight better. On the extended swing arm there is plenty of room to do that. On my 5 inch swingarm the bracket is in the exact same distance from the pivot point as the stock one was and it seems to sit a little high in back. Any thoughts? Hillclimber

I lowered my quad in the rear by moving the shock mount back and have had no problems, it's fairly easy to do and does help with weight transfer.
