K&N is eating my outerwear?!?
#1
Does anyone else have the problem of the screen in their K&N filter cutting through their outerwear? I've got 50 hours on this one and it's shredded itself. The outerwear I've ordered to replace this one is costing $17.99. I don't think I want to have to replace these that often. Does anyone run foam? Will it flow as much air?
Also, for those of you who have no airbox, does your filter stay cleaner when riding in dusty conditions without that box to "trap" the dust around the filter?

Try using panty hoses. You get some weird looks in the mall, but, are one of the best trail secrets their is. Get the knee highs as large as you can get. Remember to lightly oil the hose. Have some extra ready to put on in a baggy.

I think i am going to try that,i have a foam uni with no box and it gets pretty dirty the first day ,so i wanted to take the pre-filter off and put the panty hose on them ,or use the pre-filter and then the panty hose the second day for a almost clean filter..
