Blaster/Tri-Z 250 parts
#1
Well I found out today from the kid i bought my blaster from that my axle is actually a Tri-Z 250 axle. Upon further inspection im thinking my entire backend is from a Tri-Z. My swingarm is longer than the stock one, but I dont think it is the stock swingarm for a blaster. My axle carrier is different from the blaster stock one so i went searching on the internet and im about 99 percent sure its the tri-z carrier as well. My question is I might need a new axle and I want to Lonestar or Durablue if I do. I was looking on the net and found that the part numbers on a Durablue axle between the Banshee Blaster and Tri-Z are all the same. And since its known that the banshee axle will fit in the blaster carrier and work will it work in the Tri-Z carrier as well? Id go with the banshee becuase it would be the longest right? I dont see why it wouldnt work since they are all the same part numbers, but I figuired id ask first. And secondly has anyone ever seen or heard of this rear end swap? Its a pretty good idea if you think about it. My rear brakes are even off the tri-z. You can pick up a wrecked one somewhere for next to nothing. This seems like an unbeatable way to go unless you have alot of money to dump into your blaster. Thanks for any replies ahead of time and I will try to borrow my cousins digital camera and snap some pictures of this setup tonight if I can.

This forum is useless. Ive never seen anything like it. All you guys talk about is how much horsepower you have or how to mod it out but you dont answer any of the tough questions or atleast reply with a guess or something. Ive had two posts now in the past week and neither of them have got a single response, but if someone asks what cute flower sticker they should put on thier kids raptor 80 you guys jump on it like flies on sh*t. Dont bother trying to flame as I probably wont check back to even see it.

sorry I guess I didn't to see this topic until it was too late. Anyway I posted about a tri z parts on a blaster sometime last month. I didn't get any responses either. I also heard that the motor mounts are similiar as well making a motor transplant another good mod. It's is good info for someone who want's a longer swingarm.
