Default Tire ?'s

I have a 2002 500I auto. Want bigger tires but don't want to worry about damaging the bike. Are 27" Mud Lites going to be hard on the tranny or drivtrain. I push alot of snow and don't want to steal too much power. Your thoughts would be great. Thanks.

i love my 27 inch mudlites. only power loss i notice is top end speed, can't keep up with my buddys 500 with stockers.
plenty of power to spin them in the mud and gravel. I have done some pretty hard riding with them and the only problems i have had were existent BEFORE i mounted the tires. I love em, go for it!

Be careful not to go to big. Axles will start snapping left and right.

I picked some up at the dealer today and they are really light. Look like a pretty good intermediate mud tire too. I don't think they would snap an axle near as quick as a Mudzilla would.
