Default HELP!!

the scrambler's 4x4 will not go into 4 wheel drive and it will not go into gear. Please help!!!

ANYBODY!! we're thinking tranny problem, but we just replased the tanny a year ago. so PLEASE help!!

ummm could it be the 4x4 mechanism ? something could be brokin and it wont go in w/ out the brokin part ?

Default HELP!!

OK now we got it working, but the 4 wheel drive will not engage in reverse, it works fine forward but not reverse. Please help.

Sounds like you should look at the front hubs since that's where the engaging is done. If you don"t have a manual, go ask your freindly dealer about it and the cost to check it out. Also, BassBoyShocker has got it right.Without the override button being pushed, no power will go to the wheel coils and it will backfire telling you to hit that button and keep on it till you stop. If you are useing the button and it still won't work, it could need a closer look or replace the override all together. Anyways, money well spent, get a manual....good luck....
