any1 got a 350x they would part with? have learned i can't under no circumstances put motorcycle tags on anything with more than 3 wheels on the ground in my state. i'll show them..so i'm now on the hunt for a 350x

No motor cycle tags with more than 3 wheels???? Do you mean tags to make it street legal? If so, good luck with an 3 wheeler that is designed for off road. In California you can't make a 3 or 4 wheeled OHV street legal. You can with a dirt bike by putting on DOT approved tires, headlight, horn, break light, and turn signals. (Baja Kit)...

 

yep that are my intentions....i would have to put dot approved tires on it..and the turn signal,horn,etc,etc,etc...but in arkansas u can tag and make street legal a trike...thats three wheels...its meant for those V.W's thats been converted to trikes but who cares ...the law is the law and i want to ride uptown ...only problem may b insurance

 

How can you make something that is illegall legal?

 

it is illegall to ride a mororcycle that is not "stock" street legal. the reason it can be made legal is adding the parts thzat are required to be street legal. Horn, turn signals, break light, dot tires.

To my understanding in California there are 2 types of motorcylce tags. Street legal and highway legal. In order to ride on the highway a bike (or trike) must meet the "street legal" requirements AND have a 250cc engine (or bigger) and have a top speed of at least 55mph.

You see custom street legal trikes on the road built from V.W. why not start with a OHV Trike?

id probably kill myself if i had a trike on the street just driving normal would be a challenge. front end doesnt care if you're in traffic or not, it's coming up.

 

My brother has a NICE 85 350X, that he needs to sell. Someone could probably take it home for 1500 cash!

hey vampire you live in arkansas... cool arkansas is home for us rednecks, i always go into my grandparents house and our 200 acres where ilove to ride... anyways where do you live at in arkansas, cause around kingsland and Fordyce area anything faster then a bicycle is street legal, as long as it can keep up in traffic. man do ilove arkansas no insurance, no shirt, no shoes, no problems!!!!

anyways if the trike thing works out let me know and we can hook up when i come around. i am also looking for a 350x or something along those lines.
