Recon Brakes

I was wondering if that little red plug in the wheels of my recon are important? Because I ripped one out riding yesterday and I can find it. now theres just a big hole in the drum/

That little red plug covers the inspection hole for your brakes. I would purchase one from Honda, it will keep the mud, dust, water, etc out of your brakes.

Yea you need that plug. If your brakes get loose you pull that plug out and use a srewdriver to tighten them.
