I don't want to modify my stock one piece bumper/rack. I want an after market bumper without the rack. I have checked DG - 3 months now and they still say "maybe next month", Denise Kirk, JC Whitney and many others. Has anybody found one? Thank you, Lukester

 

Nothng. Either mods or wait. Of course, you can always sell the trailboss and get a Scrambler or Pred!

 

look at www.proarmor.com they have an aluminum bumper/bash plate. trying to decide if i should get one for my 00. they do have them for the 03.

 

i cut the sides and a middle bar of my front rack it looks so much better and wheelies easy. i'll try to have pic's this week.Lukester how fast does your trail boss go.

 

Mark, Not sure how fast? I reported here before that it went 50 mph by GPS but I was wrong. Seems the GPS was bouncing and on the wrong setting to be acurate as well. Anyway, it goes faster than that for sure. It has the White Brothers E series slip on pipe, EPI red primary clutch spring, vented box with K & N filter & outerwear - the box had to be modified, and if I remember right - a 45 main jet. I have the pro armor swing arm guard too. I'll be out of town for a while so I have to sign off now. I hope this answers any ?'s you may have. I'll post later when I get an acurate speed. I would be VERY suprised if, after all those mods, that your Trailboss did over 50. Get a more accurate measurement and let us know.
