My uncle is in need of a left handed thumb throttle and brake lever. His right arm is paralized from the shoulder down so, he can not ride with the conventional right handed throttle and brake. He wants to get a Polaris automatic but he is need of left handed controls. Any help locating a manufacturer or supplier would be greatly appreciated.

 

re-doing the brake to put it on the left side would not be a problem. however, i have never heard of a left-handed throttle. good luck and tell ur uncle to to ride no matter what. i think it's awesome that he's gonna ride even with a paralyzed arm.

 

can the dealer take it off the right side and move it to the left side? The reason I ask is I am handicap and I got my dealer to turn the thumb throttle up side down, so I could pull it back to me,becasue my thumb could not reach it. I had a hard time ridein before that. I am glad they changed it for me. I have a 2003 Honda Racnher Es 350 4x4. I wish you good luck.

 

Check into a snowmobile setup or a twist grip would be easy to hook up . Some go karts use trigger throttles like on a weed eater. I hope this helps you out .
