Default Raptor Problems

Doh! After checking my oil level I did'nt get the oil level guage (dip stick) back in correct. Long story short, it blew out when I started riding and had no luck finding it. Of course it's a special order item and could be forever before it's in. Can someone do me a HUGE favor and measure theirs from the bottom of the threads too the "full" mark so I can accurately measure oil level? I guess I will find something that will screw into the hole and seal it until my new guage comes in. I would be really appreciative. Thanks!
Gary

Gary by the time out got out to the 01 Virgin's hiding place I forgot what you had written because I took too many side trips and then hit on the out house and finally got to the dip stick for a look.

Here is how I got my measurements. Where the black O/ring sits on the top the the oil tank to the full mark on the dip stick is:

2 and 1/8 inches.

Excellent! I appreciate your diligence bud. Straight from the virgin....sweet....

Pike, I was gonna use the manual for a rough idea, and fine tune my oil level with the proper distance into the oil reservoir.
