the sprocket didnt come with tension specs? there is a section on your owners manual that talks about chain adjustment and tensioning, but it might not mention how much to change if you went with less teeth.

take a look...

No,all they gave me is a sprocket and a receipt.I'm fixing to run over to the shop and just adjust it as the owners manual says.
Thanks,

Default Adjustting Raptor Chain???

Just dropping to a 12t will still be ok with the stock tension. Adjust it acccording to the OM specs.

Default Adjustting Raptor Chain???

loosen the two large nuts that clamp the bearing carrier. (one top, one bottom) (be sure to loosen completely) (they have a tendency to snug up upon movement)

Loosen the locknuts on the adjuster bolts on top of the bearing carrier (one left, on right). Tighten them (BOLTS) simutaneously to push the axle back.

Use a tie down strap to keep the rear suspension compressed about 2/3 of the way. Tighten the chain to about3/4 inch play. tighten axle bolts. Snug up adjusters, and then tighten locknuts.

lube and ride

then check again

voila!!!
