Default Pleased With 12 Tooth

I installed my 12 tooth front sprocket today and i'm very pleased. It's a lot more snappy and it's not too much worse about wheeling. If I lean forward a little it's fine.I did catch my self trying to upshift in 5th a couple times but when I stay on the throttle it does'nt really feel like i've lost much top end.
I wanted to ask what is it that wears real bad with a 12 tooth so I ca keep an eye on it?Is it the top plastic piece that the chain rests on by any chance.
I figured i'd give my thoughts on the 12 tooth.Thumbs up so far
Thanks,
James
