what you are doing is shaping your rings to fit your cylinder walls... when you have a fresh bore it is honed, basically a bunch of diamond shaped scratches in your cylinder that basically grind your rings to fit, you only have a few rides to get it broke in properly, some say ride it easy gradually getting on it more, i say ride the hell out of it

YA I USUALLY DRIVE IT EASY FOR A LITTLE BIT THEN HAMMER THE CRAP OUT OF FOR A LITTLE WHILE. I WOULD SAY PROBALLY ABOUT HALF AND HALF BUTS THATS JUST ME.
