Well I think I'm the first one on the Bomb forum to order a Big Gun CDI. (correct me if I'm wrong) But I just wanted to let you guys know and after I get it on and run it I'll let you guys know how it works and compare it to the stock CDI.... give us an update my ds is stock cept for KN and MBRP full race pipe....and im always on top of the rev limiter....

the big gun dosnt totally eliminate the rev limiter right? just like 1000 higher than stock?

 

Update:

There is a lot of demand for this CDI box. 1) It does not eliminate the rev limit - it moves it up 1000 RPM to about 9,000. It cannot be modified (like the Ron Wood Racing CDI) to adapt to the newer Baja, Baja X, and Viper models. Because demand is high for this new product, the wait is about 2-3 weeks now for orders - so Big Gun tells me.

Yup, about 1000rpm higher but I also heard it could be 9000rpm limit so it's around there some where. I'll give a review of it after I get it and test it for a day.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

wait it CANNOT be used with the baja? i have an 03 baja...
i know most boxes have to be modified to fit the baja because of an extra wire or somthin in the wiring harness....

that would stink if i couldnt use it.. (it didnt want to spend like 300-400 on a vortex or ron woods box)
