Default Have ?'s about 2002 E-ton 90.

I Have ridden Japan quads for over 25 years. A friend of mine bought this quad new in May. His son would not ride it. It still has the first tank of gas in it. My daughter had a wore out lt-80 that I sold a year ago. I wanted to buy a new one but, thought this was a better deal at $1300. I was hoping some of you could give me some advise on preventive maintance on this quad. I have heard about the electric choke problem. Who has a service manual? Have you been happy with yours? THANKS!

the eton 90 is a very reliable little quad. we ave a 99 model and untill this year when we started racing it we dne only routine mainteanace with no problens. spark plug changes, filter cleaning, grease the fittings, brakes and chain care is about it. also there is a ton of hop up parts out there for them if you ever decide to mod it. they are good little quads.

Hi we have just purchased a 90cc viper and my son has been on it night and day. We are quite happy at this point because of the performance and the little extra's included with this quad that the other manu do not provide. He is seven years old, tall, and about 70lbs. It appears to be a good fit for him.Text

My girls have not let that thing cool off. Do any of you know how to check and change the gear oil? I see the fill hole cap and drain hole but, don't know how much and what type oil to use.

Between 7-10 oz. You should have a fill level window below the oil fill cap on the throttle side of the motor. As far as the oil to use. We use Klotz Hypoid. There are a lot of opinions on oils. Some just use 10w30 / Some use pure synthetic.

Thanks Miniuncle! I don't see a fill window. It just has a overflow tube. I guess you just fill it up until it comes out the overflow. Do you know if they make a service manual for eton 90?

(LOL) believe it or not that's how i do it most of the time. but 7- 10 oz will get you close so you dont spill oil everywhere. As far as your manual. I heard they had one but it was not worth purchasing. I also
have a Predator 90. The motors are the same .The manual for the predator will cover 90% of what you need.
