I have removed both exhaust restrictors and now seem to have a top end limitation. It now has great take off power but never seems to wind out it's full potential. I have read that I should cut a green wire connected to the CDI. Is that correct ? Where is it located ? Is there any negative impact or should this fix my problem. Thanks for the help,... Mike

the stock one on your quad probably doesn't have the green wire to cut (ours didn't)... these do, and will open up the revs on your 50.

These little quads have a lot more potential than they come out of the factory with.
