i have removed the following

battery
starter
injection
floorboards
skidplates
sprocket guard
headlights
battery box
some wiring
all unneccesary plastic

and have lost some wight by going to lighter parts

exhaust
tires & wheels
handlebars

all of which adds up to about 70 pounds of weight savings definetely a noticeable difference.

I weighed each group of parts on my home scale & added them up & it totaled about 55lbs. It did make a difference believe it or not. It felt like I gained 5 hp. Removed was the fan, oil injection, battery, lights & steel guards, removed all un-needed steel brkts & wiring, traded heavy pipe/muffler for light weight aftermarket, same thing w/ tires, handle bars, bumper, floor boards, shifter & a couple thing's I'm probably forgetting. I guess I could take off more weight but this stuff would start to cost big $$$ so it's not worth it to me, like all the chromemoly stuff & lighter rims etc thats out there for these things.

I plan on shaving an additional 40 lbs by skipping a few Big Macs. I see so many people talking about losing a couple of lbs here and there all the time they are chowing down, myself included.

Sorry scrambler420, I wasn't poking fun at you. I weigh 197 and if someone gets me by a tire up the hill I just get my daughter on it, she weighs 120 and she will beat the same bike 2 daylight.
