The first place I would start would be the classifieds on this page. Even if there are no 250r's that are close to you or your price range at least you will start to get an idea of what they are worth and what you can get for your money. Are you looking for stock or race ready? OK, hope I helped.

Chris '87 trx250r...too many mods to list
'00 Blaster...a little screamer

P.S. Dont buy the first one you find. Shop around and talk to other people who own them before buying one. You can always find a better deal.

You can make any of the 4yrs look like an 88 if you buy new Honda OEM plastic. I wouldn't pass up
a good clean R any year if you get a good price.

Watch E-bay. Several have traded there lately. One almost new '88 completely stock traded about 1 month ago for $5500. It was in Upstate NY. I have seen several others trade for $4500. They sure trade high, and for that price everything should be perfect (new seals, bearings etc).

My brother just picked up a clean '88 and after riding it, I can see why everyone wants one. They are a blast.
