Raptors with Yoshi TEC quiet kit?
#2
Yes the Yoshi is loud.
My friend has a Yoshi on his raptor, he bought the quie kit. What a joke, they quiet it down, but he has to rejet to use them. He noticed a big power loss with them in. You would be better off runing the stock pipe.
CT pipes seem to perform good on raptors, and they are pretty quiet.

I don' think that ct pipes are quiet..........they are supposedly the same as Graydon.......and graydon is LOUD....I have never heard a ct on a rappy.......but my buddy has a graydon on his rappy.......and that thing is almost as loud as my sparks pipe........

I have the quiet kit and it works well. I dont have to rejet when i put them in. I usually run the bigger one that comes with the quiet kit. That is if i am going any where there are noise problems. I have noticed a very small amount of power loss while running the quiet kit. I installed the smallest tip and it sounded weird with it in but no problems. without the tec kit at first i thought it was loud but now i am used to it and it dont sound bad.

Raptor + Yoshimura exhaust = INCREDIBLY LOUD!!!!
My buddy has a 03 Raptor with the Yosh exhaust and it drowns out everything else on the MX track. It's kind of funny to see a couple 400EXs on the front straight but still only hear his Raptor even though it's way out on the backside of the track.
