Stock RIM/TIRE WEIGHT Raptor
#3
Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know how much the tire weighs and how much the rim weighs, seperate from each other. Also, since I don't have a quad to look at can you tell me the size of the back and front tire? Thanks.

I cant remember the weight exactly but if you are looking to save some weight with aftermarket tires and wheels you can shed some pounds by doing this. Not to mention some of the weight will come off of the drive train; always a good thing. Slim

I think I'm going to go on a big diet soon. I should be able to get myself down from 195 to 165 fairly easy. That would be a huge difference. If I coupled that with a new rim/tire combo and shed a bit of weight here and there, I would have a hell of a machine when I put on my exhaust/airbox crap. Well, hell of a machine to start with

Iwent from stock to holeshot XCT, 23" frt, 22"rr, on douglas wheels, these are 6 ply tires, and they were lighter than the stockers on steel! no kidding! a great way to get rid of unsprung weight. Suppliers can tell you the weight of every part, might even be on the website.
