Banshee coolant reservoir question
#1
I have a friend of mine that bought Toomey T5 pipes for his banshee. In the assembly instructions, Toomey tells you to remove the coolant reservior. I think they do this because their pipes interfere with the reservoir. Removing the reservoir also seems counterintuitive because the engine runs hotter. Have any of you cobbed together a bracket for the reservoir, or have you had sucess keeping the engine cool without the reservoir? Any input would be appreciated.

I have not had any experience with this personally but I do not think that this would have any effect on actual cooling capability. The reservoir's purpose is to keep the radiator full to the top... it has no effect on actual cooling. If the engine gets too hot it pushes some coolant out and pulls the coolant back in when it cools down.
