Im going to look at a 185 big red Monday after school.The list price is 700$.I talk to them on the phone today and they said it runs excellent.They said it needs a new tire but thats it.Thanks for your time.

 

there was never a 185 big red.

the big red came out in 83 as the 200e, and 200es in 84. the 84 had shaft and reverse. then in 85-87 the big red became a 250es, with shaft, reverse, and rear suspension.

i suspect you're looking at a 185s. $700 seems a bit high unless it is mint. $400-500 seems reasonable if everything works and its in decent shape.
