Two of the bolts on my wheel are stripped. They are not completely rounded, but I can't get the ratchet to grip it. How can I get out these bolts?
All suggestions are welcome!!!!
Thanks in advance

Well, since they are ruined anyway, can you get Vise Grips on them or even a small size pipe wrench if you have the room.
I assume you're talking about the lug nuts, not the wheel studs.

If all else fails, and since they a ruined anyway, you can use a chisel and hammer on them. Tap them sideways, so that each hammer tap turns them the correct way.

Take a 12 point socket that you can hammer over the bolt lug.Beat it on with your hammer so it is snug. Now take your rachet and remove it.Replace it with a new one.====Bill

You can also take a nut splitter that surrounds the nut, and as you tighten down a bolt on the other end, it pushes a sharp-edged portion into the side of the nut and splits it like a piece of wood.

Sorry, I should have specified: I am talking about the lug nuts. How would you use vise grips? My big ones don't fit in the wheel, and the small ones don't fit around the bolt.
The nut splitter sounds painful!!!!(just kidding) But I would prefer not to have to buy anything
Also, how could you fit the chisel and hammer in so you could bang it off? Thanks for all the ideas

i had this problem a few weeks ago and what I did was I took a torch and heated the crap out of the lugs and then took a 12 point socket that is just a bit smaller then the actual size you need and hit it on with a hammer then just hook up the rachet and twist off.

Is there any risk of ruining the aluminum wheels by exposing them to too much heat?

weld a bolt onto the Lug nut. You can then ratchet them off from the bolt. Its a method used for stripped lugs on cars/trucks.
