Has anyone used the Perma-Cool Universal ATV oil cooler kit? Got a King Quad 2001, my son put a stick throught the factory oil cooler. Suzuki wants $400.00 for a new one. Perma-Cool web site has the kit for $54.49, did not know if I would be throwing my money away on there oil cooler.

Does anyone know of a cheaper replacement than Suzuki that works?

I called Perma-Cooler and talked with them about the cooler kit. I think it will work BUT this is another problem I have run in to. Does any one know if someone sell the oil hose fitting that bolt up to the motor. All I need is the fitting, Suzuki doesn't sell just the fitting. Suzuki wants $132 for one hose & $156 for the other hose. Do not want to cut the factory oil hose for the fillings just in case the cooler doesn't work like they say. then I would be out $692 for factory oil cooler & factory hoses.

Has anyone ever sliced an oil hose together with a double male adapter & hose clamps? Did it leak?
