Ok here is my dilemma I will have my motor back at the end of next week. I need a dual carb thumb throttle cable. there is no way I will switch to twist. I need the cable by next weekend. I've already called On dunes and they did not have any and there supplier ron woods does not have any and neither of them know when they will. I know sam coe doesnt carry them. so that pretty much only leaves gary at tvi. I havent called gary yet because i thought his supplier was ron woods for those cables also. Please someone help me I need it by next weekend and I live in NY......

I run the stock thumb throttle on my 39's and it works great. I have the side mounted throttle linkage and had to modify it for the shorter cable. I also removed two coils off the main spring and shaved the rest of the coils down enough to make it comfortable for all day riding. IT has a little heavier pull than stock but lighter than the TM 45's I've ridden. Gary is the one who put the idea into my head, his bike was set up with the stock thumb throttle at 4SW but it was bloody stiff, my thumb was cramping after 30 mins or so. I didn't mind the twist too much but it constantly got sand under the sleeve and that created a ton of drag and real regular cleaning.
good luck

Motion Pro or SUDCO would be the two places I would check. I don't know exactley what you need, but they have alot of carb parts.
