Went riding on Sunday and sure enough, I got a flat tire.
Damn Polaris and their sorry engineering and crappy quality control!
They let a tire get out to the public that had defects!
It let a 4" railroad spike go right thru it!!!
Can you believe this garbage? I think I am going to write the Consumer Safety Council and give them an earfull!!!
I will be selling this bike shortly and replacing it with a MIAbrams tank. That will show them!!

You all have minor problems. I can't seem to keep the oil out of my fuel on my Trail Blazer. I add oil to the oil tank, but some how it keeps getting mixed with the gas and gets burned. This is surely a major problem. And wouldn't you know it, I find this out right after the warrentee is expired.

B777,
It MUSt be a problem Just related to the Scramblers.. I have a slow leak on MY 97 SCRAMBLER too.. POLARIS SHOULD issue a RECALL and give me my money back... Its THEIR fault that I haven't checked the air pressure for about a year and it got mud in the bead...
I'm writing a letter to Polaris and DEMANDING not only a FULL refund, but an apology.. and I think they should JUST GET out of the ATV business.. That AUTOMATIC will NEVER catch on..

Finally a place where other Polaris owners have the exact problems as I do! All my friends ride Honda's and they have convinced me what a piece of junk I have!
The bearings in the muffler need replacing every 6 weeks. The 3rd pinion return bleeder screw always backs it's self out right in the middle of a hill climb. Then I have to stop and use a 1" oeteker relief wrench to tighten it! How frustrating is that???? I am so mad!
My riding buddies never have to add oil. I can't seem to keep enough in my Sport 400L. I am amazed at how much oil it burns. One day I am gonna keep track and figure out how much oil it burns versus fuel. I swear sometimes it feels like at a 50:1 ratio. Anyone ever burn this much oil? It must be time to replace the piston return spring I guess.
I rotate the air in the ties every spring. It just takes so damn long transfering the air from each tire one at a time to the weather balloons then back into the oposite tire. I think it is worth it though cause when I do get a flat the tires never make a hissing sound like in the movies. I hate that hissing noise.
One more thing that I hate about my Sport 400 is the pinging and the smell. That ping ping noise that it makes. It sounds nothing like the Honda's I ride with. They sound like Argo's or Max's, that slow steady putt, putt, putt as they shift.
I like that sound because it reminds me of my great gransfather's Model A Ford.
We all need a great place like this to share our complaints.

Hey you rotated your air??? Dont you know that you are supposed to put summer air in by june??? I have replaced 3 inner muffler bearings, and also the elipical twinge nut on the the gisinta. I also had to replace the radiator cap on My 325 trail boss. Also had two flats Polaris tires must be really cheap nails go right thru them. Must be a quality control problem!!!!!!
