250ex plastics on an LT250r?
#1
I've heard of people modding 250ex platics onto an LT250r, i was wondering if this is possible. Maier plastics makes some nice lt plastics in multiple colors, but atleast the lt plastics will have a wider variety of graphics kits available for them. Can anyone tell me how this is done, any special techniques, any years best? Lemme know what you think.

first of all, there's basically NO graphic kits out there for the LT250R. FMF used to make a very ugly decal "kit" for the front plastic but good luck finding one of those.
second of all... 250EX plastic on the LT250R? what the hell? why??? you'd get barely any air to the rad and it would look really screwed up and it would require tons of work and money. first of all, the gas tanks of the two machines are totally different and so are the seat latches. that's not even mentioning the actual plastic mounting points... yeesh.
i haven't checked out maier's new plastic but their old stuff is so horrible it should all be burnt. not to mention their ugly 'block-style' front hoods.
