Well its been a while since I posted. I got the DS running great with my homemade endcap and some jetting changes. Since then I added a UNI filter and some other aesthetic items(skid plate, handguards, stickers, etc.) I just finished compiling some video from my vacation up to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I am riding the DS which I had only had for about 2 weeks. The guy on the yellow polaris is my cousin. This was the first day he had ever ridden that quad. All of the video was shot at the beginning of the day. There was a lot better riding afterward but the camera was ruined from getting sprayed with sand (which is included in the video). After we got back to our cabin I bought some compressed air and got the camera to work again so I could extract the footage. There is about 3 hours of footage on my uncle's camera but he is in Wisconsin. Once I get his camera I will be making another video so stay tuned.

P.S. the video is 13mb so it may take a while to load. The webpage is about 1/2 hr old so it will be drastically improbed in the next couple weeks.

Enjoy

Yeah that looked cool but we are still blowing sand out of the camera. Everything got filled and we almost lost the video but luckily everything turned out ok.

The video was shot at two places actually. The first part was a huge sawdust pile that we found about a mile from Twin Lakes. The other spot was a sandpit that I can't even begin to explain how big it was. All of the video was shot there from one spot which was about 1/10 or less of the whole thing. We spent two whole days there and still didn't climb all of the different hills. Oh yeah that was about 2mi south of Mass City on a dead end road named Samir Airport Rd. We stopped there on our way up to Loc La Belle this year but next year we are going back to Twin Lakes for a week in August. My uncle has all of the video from the rest of the sandpit. I should be getting it sometime in October and will post another much larger video. This one also includes me going over the handlbars trying to skim over the top of a water hole.
Glad you liked it, it was my first experience in video editing and I will have to say I think it turned out pretty good.
