Armagosa dunes
I JUST found out that a guy I know will be at Armagosa sand dunes Today - Sunday, and he happens to have a new 760 TVI motor from what I hear running VERY strong...I have finally got my 720 [ not the one that samcoe performance wrecked] DIALED in the way it should be...This will be a GREAT test to see how these DSs run against eachother...Armagosa has one of the steepest hills around..I will run him and tell the results when I get back Saturday morn...If I dont win I may get rid of everything!!! LOL
Anyone else is welcome to come out and run the hill...I will be in a motorhome with a black trailer and darp purple DS shaved fenders, camped on the entrance side where the big hill is...

The verdict is in!!!!!
I out torqued the tvi 760 by one bike length on a very steep hill and it would have been more but I was sucking the bowl dry at the very top of hill..fixed that prob though, he was on gas and i wasnt though...them tvi motors are strong and rev very high for strokers, but it was the quality time ive been spending with my 720 that payed off [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
Both of us basically had the same gearing and we were the same weight....I could not keep the front end down out of the hole with +4 swingarm was not enough, and would have to let off and then catch him and pass him...I hope tvi wont be mad about this race conclusion.. timing changes and a few other little things ended up running Great..

Hey great job Mario!
Sorry, I couldn't make it.
Just want to let you know that Frank and I, along with my usual crew are going to Dumont on the weekend of the 10th-12th of Oct.
I will put up a thread when we get closer, to try and get some more guys out for the start of the dune season.
