I am interested in buying a quad. I have ridden plenty of them but have never owned them. I have basically owned only racing dirt bikes. I havent really riden a quad that was fast for me either. Then again it may be cause i rode crappy quads. Never the less, the 400ex really interests me a ton. I was wondering the advantages of buying one new vs. one used. Im only 20 so i have to watch my budget. I still have college to pay for...but i really want a new toy to play with. Plus, does riding in the snow do harm to the quads these days or is it fine to do.....thanks...

 

Snow will not hurt Honda's!,,,But they are a little cold blooded to start in the winter.

 

I would go for new because a friend of mine was looking for a 400ex and we looked from owners that were selling them and dealers that were selling them and everyone we looked at were beat the hell!! Than wasting your time driving there and there, you're better off buying new.
