My friend just bought a new predator and he says that it will do 90 stock! I dont think that there is a way a stock predator will go 90 ..what do you guys think?

your friend is sadly mistaken. thatis funny to think a pred will run taht fast stock. nothing against a pred though my buddy has one and he is awesome on it.

 

no quad stock with stock gearing will hit 90mph....highest probly is mabey...mabey 80mph....

 

Maybe he is talking Km? Or free-falling from an airplane. LOL

 

When they release a quad from the factory, it isn't aloud to go faster than 80mph. if you were to change the gearing then it might go faster, and a predator won't even do 80mph stock. you can get a cop to do laser radar and it will not say 80mph garranteed.

 

Is that 80mph a firm limit? I know that street bikes are at a firm limit of 186mph,is this the same type of limit?

BTW: how crazy would you need to be to over 80 on a quad anyway?

 

no i dont think its 80, guys at a local bombardier dealer says they clocked a stock ds baja 650 at 104mph, and guys in the forums say they topped their ds 650s out at 110 even 118! which is hard to believe, but anything is possible. i think my z400 tops out at least at 75, i raced my freind in really long feild and i was quit a bit ahead of him, im talkin 5 or more bike legnths.
