Met some guys going to Shiloh Ridge in Alto this sunday the 5th. Anyone been there lately ?

Man that sucks. I hope I never catch someone trying to steal mine. I wonder if you can get on the forums while in prison?

Was it a pain chroming the side cases on yours, what prep and clean-up was necessary on yours ?

 

Not bad. I get a better price if they are clean. The guy just bakes the powdercoat off. If the part cant take alot of heat he will beedblast it. Most places will give you an estimate on condition of the part.

 

I'm talking about when it's done, what about the gasket surface etc. , do you have to clean any on the back side, what about clutch arm hole etc. , I've powder coated a bunch of stuff and it's a pain getting stuff back to go back together normal, never done any chroming yet.

 

Nothing has to be done to the inside and my chrome guy will cover any treads or holes I dont want chromed. It went together very easy. I had one leak on one side cover but It needed a new gasket. Other than that no problems at all. Give me a list of what your chroming.
