DogS, sorry to hear that. that just sucks! we camp at the electric & water camp sites with a group from houston that we met 2 1/2 years ago, we're from the dallas area but after we met it was cool. we would not camp with out each other, everyone looks out for each other & a good family group. we park in a big circle like the old covered wagons of the west, always with the lights on all night, plus I sleep on a cot outside with the bikes chained up. I would not have it anyother way no matter were I go. It's hard core but I sleep outside of the campers everynight with the bikes. It suck to have to do that but I have seen story's all over the country with stolen bike at alot of different places. I take no chances. plus it helps being good with the owners of shiloh ridge & know they're looking out for your good along with others.

DogS, their talking about LA Dunes 24-26th, don't know-maybe, it is now $20 per bike per day, If I go will be only bringing the donkey, these prices are unreal.

 

I'm not payin no 20 f%$kin dollars to ride at LASPEEDBUMPS.

 

XR650Warrior, I'm talking about shilohride & not LA Dunes, I know there are going to be alot of forum members @ LA Dunes Oct. 24-26 but the wife & squit want to go to shilohridge for the holloween ride, hay rides & haunted trail rides. I wish I could make the LA Dunes ride but I can't, maybe next time. I hope ya'll have a good time. keep me posted on how everything finished out. Let me know about the next time.

I might go to shilo ridge I'm not sure yet. All I know is I'm not payin 20 bucks to ride at LADUNES. Barney can have his speed bump infested sand piles.

 

We all are upset with Barney. La Dunes brings in to much money for him to do such a crappy job with it. But we still ride. Its the closes place to ride for me. So I continue to go. I'm not happy having to pay the extra money but i will do so just to ride.

Meaner, are you going to make it to La Dunes for the weekend before Halloween?

 

It depends. I dont think 20 a day is cool at all. Its not that great. Maybe if everyone stopped going he would lower the prices. Maybe I will end up at Shiloh for that weekend. I havent been in along time but Im going this sunday the 5th to check it out. Ill let you know how it goes.

 

Meaner, I'm having my 6th fan replaced on my bike. Its under warrenty for another year atleast. But, I would like to try and make one of the tracks you ride at sometime. Let me know when your going and I will try and make it. The Sand Yacht maybe down for a week or two.

 

1BigDSRider my bud kept having his fan replaced under warrenty but found out later that it had to do with the fan switch. Just something else to maybe try. Also his battery was bad. Sometimes it would start other times had to push start it. ??????????????
