I have a raptor and ride in the dunes. I have seen the Ds riding in the dunes and it looks cool and Im thinking about getting one but I need to know if it is as reliable as the raptor or even more reliable.

Yes the ds is more reliable than the Raptor. Unless its driven by me.

 

Sure can tell this isn't the Yamaha forum. Does the fact that the DS looks like a turd on wheels count for anything? I know the question is about reliability but come on, they're ugly! lol

Every where I go people look at my DS! I love the look[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I have a 2000, I have ridden in the dunes 4 weekends (I drag alot), did a dirt drag (got 3rd) [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] did a 1 hour hair scrambler (got 3rd)[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] and some other days here and there and still runing strong[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] NO BREAK DOWNS[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I am very happy with my DS[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Good luck
