JETTING, PLEASE HELP!!!!
#1
ok i got a 250ex w/ a pro circuit full system, k&N filter w/ outerwear and no lid. I bought a 105 main jet and also a 110. i took the carb apart, took out the stock main, put the new 105 main in, and put it all back together. i start it up and start to rev it a little. it only revs once and after that it bogs down and dies. if i put it in gear and give it some gas it just dies. ive turned the idle screw every way possible and still no luck. its almost like its getting to much air and not enough gas. does anyone know what might be the problem here? do i need to change the needle clip to a different notch? im not even sure where the needle clip is on the carb, what exactly does changing the clip position do? so if anyone knows what mite be the problem here please let me know , thanks

you need the needle in there... and theres diagrams of the carb at exriders.com but not sure the stock notch on the 250ex but you may juts want to change the clip position up and down and see where the throttle is best at...
