My friend and i are planning on spending a little over $3000 on a quad. He already has a 300ex but wants a quad to built up and i will eventually buy it from him. The quad will be used most likly. WE have narrowed it down to SCrambler 500, Warrior, or another 300ex. Which could we work on with relative ease?

 

I'd save a few extra months and buy a used Z400 - a lot more potential than any of the ones you listed. JMO

 

What do you intend to use the quad for? That would help in narrowing down your selections .. scrammy 500 shouldn't even be mentioned along with the Warrior and 300EX tho .. not that it's a bad quad, just not in the same league/class.

 

Are you guys going to be sharing this thing?? Well anyways, I would say get the Scrambler over all of the others. If I were you I would go for the 500 instead of the 400. After that I would say Warrior, I really like mine, but I would sell it if there was a Scrambler or Z-400 cheap enough. Overall, Scrambler. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

i would look for a used 400 ex, with the new 400s coming onto the market, their prices are falling, and you can find a 2001 or newer one for around that number. And, they have all kinds of aftermarket parts to build it up.

 

I used to own a Warrior it was a good machine but I like my Scrambler better. It just depends on what you are using it for.

 

Outta what you listed I woud go w/ the Scrambler 500...
Unless you save up a lil more for a Z400 like dude said..
But it Really Depends on what/How your gonna use her...
