fuel leak

I have a 03 baja that is just bearly broken in. After a day of rideing on the trailer she goes and we go home and some times when I get home there is gas on the trailer and the skid plate it looks like it is coming from the over flow? And if I ride a slow wheelie for around 30 to 40 feet it will start to hesitate. Other then that it runs great. by the way its all stock . Any input would be great
PS raced a canondail this weekend out on the street I was on his grab bar the hole time. Know if I could just keep the front end down through second and theird the beast might just be out front,,,,,After we raced he wouldn't tell me what he had done to it (after he found out mine was all stock) I know he addleast had it piped. All he did say was I was going to get a bomb before I bought this and rode off. I can't wait to start modding the beast

Yo tricky....
If it's any thing... I've got the same issue. Meaning, I come back from a ride and have to turn my fuel off. Otherwise it'll start a drip.... oddly I've adjusted my float level too. Several times. And still got a drip. I don't hesitate on wheelies though.
And .... You've got a lot of toys... Slammed and Shaved Chevy huh?! I used to have a slightly lowered dually with a blower... and shaved all the way around. My shaved and blown 7.5L F350 Dually

My garden tractor with a 1000 ninja was doing that too. If I didn't shut the fuel off when being trailered it would go out the overflows and when I would start it it would hydrolic with all of the fuel that went into the cylinders and push it to the crankcase. It was caused by being trailered with the fuel left on and the floats bouncing when hitting bumps which let more fuel in and then gravity took over. I didn't know what it was doing until the crankcase got full enough of fuel that it started to blow fuel out the motor vent and right on the exhaust. Big fire. I bailed. Don't know who put it out but they did it pretty quick.

any time you haul the bike the fuel valve under the tank should be shut off, otherwise everytime you hit a bump the float will bounce and let excess fuel in, coming out the overflow on your trailer floor.
if the bike slowly drips fuel while just sitting still, then the float valve is not shutting off frmo a problem inside, which would contribute to running a bit rich and contribute to your wheelie cough.
if the fuel only drips when your hauling without turning the petcock off, that's normal, but there still could be a maladjusted float level causing some of your coughing issues.

Thanks Hightower. I bought this beast from a boat dealer that sold seadoo's and this thing sat in there office with gas in it for almost a year so I think I am going to take apart the carb and clean it up and see what that does. I messed around in the yard alittle this weekend after cutting the carb spring and it still coughs at a real slow first gear wheelie but if I cruz along in second with the Rpms up it will not to it so I am going to see what cleaning it will do. When I took out that dyerfram thing out of the top of the slide the carb was dirty you could tell that gas had been sitting in there, so if thats the case near the slide who knows what it looks like in the bowl.....Thanks alot
