My Grizzly cuts out when I try to back out when stuck in the mud. How do I remove the reverse override?

 

Doesnt the reverse override button(if theres one on a griz) keep it from cutting out. my friend uses his override button in reverse and he can smoke the tires with it in override.

 

The 2002 doesn't have a reverse override switch.

Easyest way is buy a 2004 it comes with it

Go to your dealer and get a YZ type kill switch, they work awesome for the override. That way you won't have to worry about your wife/girlfriend, or some kid punching the gas on your quad in reverse and hitting 70 before it flips and someone gets hurt, which can happen if you cut the wires.

I also bought an 04 LE mettalic Grizz, and an extra control pod with the built in override switch. One of these days, I'll redo my difflock override, and run it like it is on the 04's. Once done, I'll so a post on retro fitting that with the wiring diagram.
