What are the differences between the '02 and '03 Sp700? I know of some jetting changes but what exactly were they. Also what other changes did Poo do to "update" the '03's?

I have a service manual that covers the 02 and 03`s. I have notice the following differences.
02 03
Main jet 162.5 155
Pilot jet 45 47.5
Jet needle 4BH41-4 J8-4FA01-3
Needle jet P-6 P-6M
Ignition timing 25 BTDC@3000RPM 32 BTDC@5760RPM
Drive train high
gear reduction 3.09/1 2.89/1


All other specs appear to be the same. I think the 03`s just took care of the initial bugs. I have an 02 with 180 hours and 1850 miles. I was in Colorado in August using it hard. The only problem I have had was the leaking water pump cover, which my dealer took care of under warranty. I love it!

 

Fromt axles are also different between the 02 and 03. PLUSS the H20 pump on the 03 didn't come stock from the factory wityh a leak[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
