Blaster wider race axel

Default Blaster wider race axel

Ive been advised that a wider race axel would make a differance to my Blaster, anyone got any comments or recomendations???

I agree that a wider axel will give you some stability....but they are not cheap. All of the standard models from lonestar or durablue are gonna run you a few hundred.

Why not give offset wheels a try to see if you like it...much cheaper...

Default Blaster wider race axel

I am not sure about the blaster, but on my warrior, I turned the rims inside out... keeping the tire rotation correct, just swap sides. The offset widened my stance about 4 inches. I found it better for stradling ruts, but a bit hard to manage in between tight trees.

Give it a try and see if you can try this.. totally cheap investigation.

Might try turning the wheels around then, tbh its the only down side that I find to the blaster is its relative instability on tight corners it does have a habbit of trying to tip, I was hoping with widening the rear its could help this stability a bit. Although Im not keen to spend a lot on it as it will hopefully be getting traded in around January.
