Default mysterious blaster blowup

Alright guys im new to the forum and i got 2000 blaster that i bought for $750 it ran like new it was fast it had a full fmf riva racing fatty and muffler and a uni filter ran strong and the guy said it only had a hour on the fresh rebuild new piston and rings and so we were like alright, so about 3 days after we got it i was riding in up and down or road and i was doing about 45ish and it stalled out so i checked gas tank had almost full so i started it up again and it sputterd and shut off so with ignition off i turned it over slowly and pure metal on metal sound crunching all in the block so got ready and got my tools and took the jug off and wallah the piston skirt broke into big and little pieces and i was astonished to the sight so right now im puzzled but i think it was piston slap because the either dident break it in right, took too much off the cylinder , or as in 1 hour on new rebuild meant he was only 1 hour into the break in and not 1 hour regular riding after the break in itself or something else what do you guys think? alot of help would be appreciated , thanks in advance!

Sounds like 1 hour on a new piston. Did you let the motor warm up before beating on it? Could be a faulty piston or poor assembly.
